At Waynesville Pilates, we believe in the power of Pilates as therapeutic exercise. Our instructors specialize in anatomically sound, prescriptive Pilates… helping people build resilient strength, improve flexibility and balance, and restore healthy alignment.
We love helping people find joy, relief, and confidence through healthy movement. Our range of clients includes professional dancers, athletes, peri-natal women, people in search of chronic pain relief, and folks experiencing complicated injuries and health conditions.

Sheila has been practicing therapeutic massage therapy for 12 years, and studying herbalism for almost two decades. She grows and stewards plants on unceded Cherokee land with careful ecological consideration. The topical oils she prepares come from the unfolding celebration of blooms and harvests throughout the changing seasons. Sheila's bodywork experience ranges from hospital, clinic, and spa settings, offering a variety of treatment from relaxation to rehabilitative. Modalities include myofascial release, medically and anatomically focused sessions, and kinesthetic awareness through movement. Most sessions include complementary beneficial reflexology. As with every treatment, they are catered to a person's needs, valuing communication, healthy boundaries and body positive acceptance.
Bodywork, herbology, art and astrology are all woven together in her craft and services, and she loves facilitating the inter-webbed healing potentials they can each encompass. Consider working with Sheila to prioritize body care and take an intentional pause from the overwhelm of capitalistic demands.
